How our ravens make dice...

  • Mould making

    It all starts with the dice moulds! We create our own moulds in-house to ensure each dice is of Ravensridge quality.

  • The pour

    Using methods developed over 6 years of dice making, we pour resin into the moulds by hand and work with the inclusions and colours to create a 100% unique dice design.

  • The polish

    We polish each dice by hand for as long as it takes to ensure it has the smooth finish that makes it a Ravensridge dice.

    Once we love it, we list it for our community to purchase.

Where are your dice sets made? Australia?

All of our dice sets are handmade in our backyard art studio in Queensland, Australia. We're passionate about the artistry of dice making, so we do everything ourselves using the techniques we have developed over the past 6 years. Because of our production methods, each set of dice is totally unique.

What ingredients do you put in your dice sets?

The dice artists in our team like to experiment with ingredients, so we've made dice with all sorts of things. We often use 3D-printed inclusions like skulls, dragons, and creepy creatures. We've also experimented with flowers, bugs, snakeskin, fabric, sparkles, and more (those snakeskin dice turned out super awesome, by the way). We love using bright colours, with dice sets available in green, gold, pink, blue, black, yellow, and more.

We use ethically sourced inclusions when possible when using animal products.

What's better: metal dice sets or resin dice sets?

We personally prefer using resin dice sets, which is what we create in our studio. There are many artists doing super cool things with metal dice sets; maybe one day we'll give it a go!

What is a polyhedral dice set?

Polyhedral dice sets have seven dice:

  • D4 - Triangular pyramid (4 faces)
  • D6 - Cube (6 faces)
  • D8 - Octahedron (8 faces)
  • D10 - Pentagonal trapezohedron (10 faces)
  • D12 - Dodecahedron (12 faces)
  • D20 - Icosahedron (20 faces)

What do DnD dice sets include?

Dungeons and Dragons dice sets include a D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, and percentile dice.

Yes, if you'd like to bring the dice set of your dreams (or nightmares!) to life, ask us for a custom dice quote. We love creating weird and wild dice sets!

What is in your mystery dice sets?

If we told you what's in our mystery dice sets, they wouldn't be a mystery! We can only tell you that you'll get a set of matching dice made by hand in our studio by our dice-obsessed ravens.

Our 'one and only' dice sets are exactly what they sound like: they're sets created by our dice artists with a unique blend of colours, inclusions, and features. No gamer will ever have a dice set just like them.
